Carpet Replacement: Done Properly
Replacing a carpet properly means more than laying new pile over old problems. We lift the existing carpet and underlay first and check the gripper and subfloor underneath — gripper that's rotted or missing gets replaced, and any damp or uneven boards are flagged before anything new goes down. Old underlay is never left under a fresh carpet, since compressed or perished foam shortens the new carpet's life regardless of quality. Skirting boards are checked for scuffing from the old fit, and new door bars are matched to the replacement flooring so transitions look deliberate, not patched.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does carpet replacement cost?
Prices for carpet replacement typically run £6–£10 per m² for uplift + disposal + refit (labour), and £220–£480 per room for average bedroom (12 m²) all-in. Guide prices — your exact quote depends on room sizes and flooring choice. Send us your postcode and room sizes on WhatsApp and we'll reply with an exact, itemised quote — free, with no obligation to book.
Do you cover my area?
Yes — we cover the UK. Our carpet replacement teams work across the country seven days a week, so wherever you're based, message us your postcode on WhatsApp and we'll confirm cover and the next available date.
How soon can you get started?
Many customers get a fitting date within a week of their quote being agreed, though this varies with the season and how busy we are locally. Message us on WhatsApp with your postcode and we'll give you a realistic date, not a vague estimate.
Are your fitters insured?
Yes, every fitting team we send out is fully insured, so you're covered in the unlikely event anything goes wrong while we're on site. We're happy to send proof of insurance ahead of the job if your landlord, managing agent or insurer needs to see it.
Can I supply my own materials for you to fit?
Yes — plenty of customers buy their own carpet, vinyl or flooring and book us for the fitting alone, at £6–£10 per m². We'll still come and measure first so you order the right quantity, and flag anything that might affect the fit.
Will you take away my old flooring?
Yes — uplifting and disposing of old carpet, vinyl or flooring is standard on most jobs that involve a full uplift. If your job doesn't naturally involve an uplift, such as a small repair, just ask when you get your quote and we'll price it in.
