Carpet Fitting Services

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the carpet and flooring fitting services provided by Minix Mart LTD (Company No. 14845184), trading as Carpet Fitting Services. By requesting a quote or booking with us you agree to these terms.

Our services

We arrange carpet fitting, carpet replacement, stair carpets, carpet repair & re-stretching, underlay supply & fitting, vinyl, laminate, LVT and wood floor fitting, commercial carpet fitting, and carpet removal, disposal and whipping, carried out by fitting teams working across the UK.

Quotes

Prices shown on our website are guide prices based on typical room sizes and mid-range materials — your exact quote depends on your room sizes, access, subfloor condition and carpet or flooring choice. A quote is confirmed in writing (WhatsApp or email) before any work is booked, and we'll always tell you before any price changes once we've seen the job.

Bookings & fitting appointments

A booking is confirmed once we agree a fitting date and you accept the quote. Please give accurate details of room sizes, access, stairs and parking so we can price and plan the job correctly, and clear the room of furniture and floor coverings before the fitter arrives unless we've agreed otherwise.

Pricing & payment

We quote each job individually and confirm the price before work begins. Payment is arranged directly with your fitting team on completion of the work, by the method they accept, unless agreed otherwise. There are no hidden fees — any change to the agreed job (for example, extra subfloor preparation found on site) will be discussed and agreed with you first.

Cancellations & rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your fitting appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer. Cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Our responsibilities

We arrange for your carpet or flooring to be fitted with reasonable care and skill, to trade standard, by fitting teams that carry public liability insurance. We're happy to send proof of insurance ahead of the job if your landlord, managing agent or insurer needs to see it.

Your responsibilities

Please ensure the room is cleared and accessible, declare anything unusual about the subfloor or property, arrange any necessary parking, and be available (or have someone available) on the day. We cannot lift or dispose of hazardous materials, and pre-existing subfloor defects (for example damp or an uneven screed) may need separate remedial work before fitting can proceed.

Your consumer rights

As a consumer, your fitting work is protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015: services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and for a reasonable price where none is agreed. If a job falls short of this, you're entitled to have it put right, or in some cases a price reduction. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Liability

Our liability for loss or damage arising from our work is limited to the terms of the fitting team's public liability insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or subfloor defects, materials supplied by you, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
